When new batteries needs to be placed into the product be sure you have the correct battery type.
The product uses two 3.6V AA Lithium batteries. We can recommend the Saft LS14500.
To place the batteries first remove your product from the doorframe. Once removed you can gently open up the product as shown in the video below.
Remove the empty batteries and dispose them according to you local environment rules.
Once you place the new batteries you will see the status LEDs shining up.
Gently close the housing and mount the product back to its original position on the doorframe. Be sure the device is placed exactly the same way as it was before.
